Phase 1 – Wool Processing Plant Concepts

Qwool engaged CDE to partner on an exciting startup project to revive wool processing in Australia after a 25-year absence. Supported by local and Queensland state governments, this initiative aims to reestablish a vital industry in a modern global context.

Having lost a significant quantity of expertise due to skill shortages, Qwool faced a situation that included new products, customers, and site.

To overcome these challenges, CDE evaluated conceptual methods, addressing everything from sourcing expertise to understanding equipment, optimising site layout, and determining production rates.

As a project of national significance, we’re proud to contribute to this revival. Our comprehensive involvement spans various aspects of rebuilding the wool processing industry. We look forward to continuing our partnership – watch this space and our projects page for future developments.
